NFL Takeaways: Week 6

I’m not going to lie to you.

I didn’t watch a lot of NFL football this weekend.

Timing just didn’t work out.

But hey. I’ll do my best.

49ers defeat Seahawks 36-24

My wedding video (Humble Brag: I got married) came out on Thursday so I watched that with my wife. Meaning I didn’t watch any of this game.

But I don’t think much more is necessary other than the 49ers are a better team than the Seahawks.

Bears defeat Jaguars 35-16

I don’t know if it’s Lawrence. I don’t know if it’s the coaching or the front office.

Maybe it’s the receivers.

Whatever it is, the Jags flat out stink.

Packers defeat Cardinals 34-13

The Cardinals are the most confusing team.

Almost beat the Bills, crush the Rams, comeback and beat the Niners.

Get their doors blown off by everyone else.

Colts defeat Titans 20-17

Will Levis ain’t the guy.

Ryan Tannehill might be, though!

Not too late to find out!

Texans defeat Patriots 41-21

Drake Maye looked really solid, and that’s all you can ask for in a game like this where the Patriots were completely outmatched.

Buccaneers defeat Saints 51-27

The Saints scored 27 points in the 2nd quarter. It was an unbelievable quarter. They were firing on all cylinders offensively and defensively.

Unfortunately, they sucked horribly in the other 3 quarter and got blown out.

Eagles defeat Browns 20-16

The Browns suck, and they deserve every bit of it.

Ravens defeat Commanders 30-23

To be honest, this game went as I expected it would.

The Ravens offense looked excellent against a weak Commanders defense, Jayden Daniels played well, and the Ravens got the win in the end.

Chargers defeat Broncos 23-16

Bill Barnwell dropped a spicy little nugget about Bo Nix’s season.

Of the 566 QBs who have thrown 100 passes between weeks 1-6 of their teams season, Bo Nix’s first down rate is 564th.

Deshaun Watson is 566th, though. So that’s good for Bo.

Steelers defeat Raiders 32-13

The Steelers, who have a good defense, beat the Raiders, who have a bad offense.

Hold the front page.

Lions defeat Cowboys 47-9

GOOD.

LORD.

ABOVE.

All that needs to be said about this one.

Falcons defeat Panthers 38-20

The Falcons rush offense is outstanding.

Their run defense? Not good at all.

Get that fixed, and they might just be ok.

Bengals defeat Giants 17-7

There was playoff baseball on.

Do you think I was watching some garbage team in the Meadowlands lose on Primetime TV?

Bills defeat Jets 23-20
