NFL Takeaways: Week 14

This week was boring, much like most, and I honestly hardly watched it because I was still losing my mind from what happened in F1.

So here are some really poorly thought out takeaways from week 14 of the NFL season.

Vikings defeat Steelers 36-28

Of the Vikings 13 games, 12 of them have been one score games.

The only one that wasn’t was the Seahawks game.

Go figure.

Browns defeat Ravens 24-22

The Ravens refuse to go away easily and also refuse to look like a good football team a majority of the time.

Seahawks defeat Texans 33-13

The Hawks are now 2-0 in grey pants literally wear them all the time.

Titans defeat Jaguars 20-0

Fire Urban Meyer.

UPDATE: They did.

Chiefs defeat Raiders 48-9

Good heavens this was a massacre.

Just. Painful to watch, honestly.

Saints defeat Jets 30-9

The Jets front office (and a lot of other NFL scouts) convinced themselves that Zach Wilson was better than Justin Fields, and I’m supposed to believe the draft is this incredibly important and sure fire thing?

Cowboys defeat Washington 27-20

Micah Parsons is a star.

Falcons defeat 29-21

Cam Newton isn’t very good anymore.

I’ve said that for a few years now. I hope people finally see it.

Broncos defeat Lions 38-10

Hey, the Lions won once! Asking them to do it again is a lot.

Chargers defeat Giants 37-21

Hey, the good Justin Herbert is back!

49ers defeat Bengals 26-23

Crucial win for the Niners, who would be fighting for the division lead if they didn’t go 0-2 against the 5-8 Seattle Seahawks.

Buccaneers defeat Bills 33-27

Hey, don’t look now but the Dolphins are only one game back of the Bills…

Packers defeat Bears 45-30

This game was pretty fun but it was the Packers versus the Bears.

So while it was fun, we all knew what was going to happen.

Rams defeat Cardinals 30-23

Big win for the Rams, especially since now they are being destroyed by COVID.

Much like every team in the league, really.
