College football this season is shaping up to be weird.

I’m extremely excited about it.

Here’s this week’s top 5.

5. Wake Forrest Demon Deacons

Uh, guys?

Wake Forrest is the best team in the ACC right now.

They’re 4-0, and actually look quite good.

4. Bowling Green Falcons

How about Bowling Green?

The Falcons were 30 point underdogs going into Minnesota and they pulled off the 14-10 upset.

Tough loss for Minnesota, but the Gophers have been flirting with non-conference disaster for a few years now.

3. NC State Wolfpack

Boy, Clemson’s offense looks very not good.

Still, NC State almost found a way to completely blow this, as they have against Clemson in the past.

But they pulled through and hung on.

The ACC is wide open, which is why when Clemson ends up winning it it’ll be much more disappointing.

2. UConn Huskies

UConn and Vandy are facing off this weekend in what will be one of the most disgusting football games I’ve ever seen in my life.

Thankfully, UConn fell apart and lost to Wyoming so they could keep the winless match up happening this Saturday night in Nashville.

1. Arkansas Razorbacks

Remember when Arkansas destroyed Texas and everyone laughed about it because Texas was in so much trouble joining the SEC?

It might be time to realize that Arkansas is a very, very good football team.

K.J. Jefferson looks like a smaller, younger version of Cam Newton.

If he can continue that path, the Razorbacks are going to be a force in the SEC West once again.

(And Texas may also be a lot better than we originally thought).
